I am a social documentary/reportage photographer based in Austin, Texas. I began my career in my native Oklahoma, working at a daily newspaper. I then expanded into documentary film, which took over my life for about a decade. I returned to photography 12 years ago.
My work runs the gamut of news, features, personal projects and long-term stories. I also do corporate and trade magazine portraits, and even a wedding or two. I specialize in a realistic, intimate documentary style. I love features and photo essays, and tend to create them whenever I'm given the chance.
